Cristina García: A Remarkable Journey from Mexico to the Texas Legal Arena
Cristina García is a highly accomplished Mexican attorney with dual licenses in Texas and Mexico.
Born in Mexico and raised in a society marked by significant inequality, she developed an unwavering commitment to uncovering the truth in situations of injustice. Upon moving to Austin in 2006, she joined the Consulate of Mexico. In 2007, she accepted a diplomatic assignment as the Chief of Staff for the Ambassador of Mexico in China. In 2009, she found her true calling at Steve Pastrana’s Personal Injury Law Firm.
Cristina furthered her education, obtaining an LLM from the University of Texas in Austin. She passed the Texas Bar Exam in 2019, gaining dual licensure and obtaining the partnership of the firm, which was subsequently renamed to Pastrana & García Injury Law.
